TRAIN SERVICES TO BE CANCELLED, SHORT TERMINATED & REGULATED FOR THE PROPOSED RAIL-ROKO AGITATION AT BAMUR

Bhubaneswar, 5^TH January 2012:

DUE TO PROPOSED RAIL-ROKO AGITATION AT BAMUR ON 6^TH JANUARY 2012, TRAIN SERVICES IN ANGUL-SAMBALPUR RAILWAY SECTIONS WILL BE DISRUPTED. AS A RESULT, SOME OF THE TRAINS WILL BE CANCELLED, REGULATED AND SHORT TERMINATED ON FRIDAY. HOWEVER, THE RAIL-ROKO AGITATION IS NOT RELATED TO RAILWAY WORKINGS.

CANCELLATION:

18303/18304 Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Inter City Express and 18105/18106 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Inter City Express will be cancelled on 6^th January 2012..

SHORT TERMINATED

12893 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir Inter City Express will be short terminated at Angul and will return back as 12894 Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express from Angul to Bhubaneswar. The services of 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express will be cancelled between Angul and Bolangir on Friday.

REGULATED

18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express and 58131/58132 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela fast passenger will be regulated enroute in both the directions suitably.

NIGHT RESTRICTION OF TRAIN SERVICES IN KHARAGPUR-TATA SECTIONS EXTENDED UPTO 13TH DECEMBER.

Bhubaneswar, 5^th Jan’2012:

The running of passenger carrying trains on Kharagpur-Tata, sections shall continue to remain suspended during night hours i.e. between 22.00hrs to 05.00hrs and will remain force till 05.00hrs of 13^th January 2012.

As a result, 18477 Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express leaving Puri on and from 07^th January to 13^th January and 18478 Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express arriving Jharsuguda on and from 07^th January to 13^th January will run via Cuttack-Angul-Sambalpur Road & Jharsuguda instead of its scheduled route via Cuttack-Bhadrak-Kharagpur-Tata-Jharsuguda.

12802 New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express will run on normal route i.e. via Gomoh-Bokaro Steel City-Purulia-Tata on and from 6^th January to 12^th January (arriving Tata). If it is running even marginally behind the scheduled, it shall be controlled at Tata up to 04.50hrs of the next day.

18005 Howrah-Koraput Samaleswari Express scheduled to leave Howrah on and from 07^th January to 13^th January at 21.35hrs will be rescheduled to leave Howrah at 08.10hrs of 8^th to 14^th January respectively. Similarly, 18006 Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express has been rescheduled to leave Koraput at 11.00hrs instead of 6.45hrs during the above period and will be regulated suitable in Jharsuguda-Tata section to avoid night journey.

12819 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Samapark Kranti Express leaving Bhubaneswar on 08^th & 11^th January will leave at 22.00hrs instead of 15.40 hrs. Inconvenience caused to our valued passengers is deeply regretted.
