As per the information , one Kartru Huria of Talamitingi village under Kakiriguma Police Station shoot dead in Police Fireing on 13 April 2009. Police stated it was an encounter. But Simakari Huika , wife of Huria prayed in the Odisha High Court for compensation of her husband as it was a false encounter of Police. Polica has shoot dead her husband. Earlier the State Human Rights Commission had directed the state government to pay her compensation of Rs 1.5 Lakh . But the Odisha High Court has directed the state government to pay her compensation of Rs 3 Lakh . So the state government to pay more 1.5 lakh as compensation.
