Bhubaneswar : The members of House Committee of Odisha Assembly under the Chairmanship of the Speaker Pradip Kumar Amata in its first sitting proposed to Stop the proposed Sindol Project.
Member of the House Committee Prasana Acharya,Niranjan Pujari,Bhagaban Kuanr and Padmanav Behera and other legislatures proposed to stop proposed Sindol Project.
After MoU for construction of the proposed Sindol project , people of Western Odisha vividly opposed the proposed project. State Energy Minister had expressed to hold a Public hearing on the project. If the people will oppose, the Project will be stopped. In the last Assembly session including rulling Legislatures, the opposition members opposed the proposed project . At last the Speaker framed a House committee .
