Bhubaneswar, 11th December 2011:
Due to unavoidable circumstances, this Press Release is in supersation
of earlier Press Release issued on 10.12.2011. It has now been decided
that, the running of passenger carrying trains on Kharagpur-Tata,
Kharagpur-Adra & Rourkela-Chakradharpur sections shall continue to
remain suspended during night hours i.e. between 22.00hrs to 05.00hrs
and will remain force till 05.00hrs of 14.12.2011.
As a result, 18477 Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express leaving Puri on and
from 11th December to 13th December and 18478 Haridwar-Puri Utkal
Express arriving Jharsuguda on and from 11th to 13th December will run
via Cuttack-Angul-Sambalpur Road & Jharsuguda instead of its scheduled
route via Cuttack-Bhadrak-Kharagpur-
12802 New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express will run on normal route i.e.
via Gomoh-Bokaro Steel City-Purulia-Tata on and from 11th to 13th
December (arriving Tata). If it is running even marginally behind the
scheduled, it shall be controlled at Tata up to 04.50hrs of the next
day. Similarly, 12816 New Delhi Puri Nandankanan Express arriving
Gomoh on and from 11th to 13th December and 12282 New Delhi-Puri
Duronto Express arriving Gomoh at 02.27 hrs. on 13th December will be
regulated up to 4.00hrs over East Central Railway to avoid night
running on Adra-Kharagpur section.
18449 Puri-Patna Baidyanathdham Express on 12th December, 15639
Puri-Guwahati Express on 13th December will leave Puri at 22.00hrs
instead of 14.05hrs and 12819 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Samapark
Kranti Express leaving Bhubaneswar on 11th December will leave at
22.00hrs instead of 15.40 hrs. 15629 Chennai-Guwahati Express leaving
Chennai on 12th December will be re-scheduled to leave Chennai by 4.00
hrs so that, it will reach Kharagpur about 05.00 hrs.
18005 Howrah-Koraput Samaleswari Express scheduled to leave Howrah on
and from 11th to 13th December at 21.35hrs will be rescheduled to
leave Howrah at 08.10hrs of 12th to 14th December respectively.
Similarly, 18006 Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express scheduled to leave
Koraput at 11.00hrs instead of 6.45hrs.
Inconvenience caused to our valued passengers is deeply regretted.
