Bhubaneswar, 10th December 2011:
Train services in Kharagpur-Tata, Kharagpur-Adra &
Rourkela-Chakradharpur sections will be resumed with effect from the
night of 11th December 2011 with safety precautions. However, all the
passenger carrying trains will run at a restricted speed of 75 KMPH
between 22.00 hrs to 05.00 hrs on these above sections during Bandh
called by Maoists. Light engines/goods trains will be run before
passenger carrying trains or convoy of passenger carrying trains
during night for safety.
The process of restoration of passenger train services during the
night will be as follows:
1. 18477 Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express leaving Puri on 11th December
will run on normal route i.e. is via
Cuttack-Bhadrak-Kharagpur-
2. 18478 Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express leaving Haridwar on 11th December
and arriving Jharsuguda on 12th December will run on normal route.
Accordingly, the service of 08477/08478 Tata-Jarsuguda-Tata Special
train will be withdrawn from 12th December 2011.
3. 12802 New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express leaving New Delhi on 11th
December and arriving Tata on 12th December will not be regulated at
Tata. Similarly, 12816 New Delhi Puri Nandankanan Express and 12282
New Delhi-Puri Duronto Express will not be regulated over East Central
Railway and will run on its scheduled timings with effect from 13th
December 2011.
4. 18005 Howrah-Koraput Samaleswari Express leaving Howrah on and from
12th December will run on its scheduled timings i.e. 21.25 hrs.
However this train scheduled to leave Howrah on 11th December will
re-scheduled to leave at 02.30 hrs on 12th December.
5. 18006 Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express scheduled to leave Koraput
on and from 11th December will run on its scheduled timings as per
time table.
6. 18449 Puri-Patna Baidyanathdham Express leaving Puri on 12th
December, 15639 Puri-Guwahati Express leaving Puri on 13th December,
18419 Puri-Darbhanga Express leaving Puri on 15th December and 12819
Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Samapark Kranti Express leaving
Bhubaneswar on and from 18th December will run on its scheduled
timings.
7. 15629 Chennai-Guwahati Express leaving Chennai on and from 12th
December and 15929 Chennai-Dibrugarh Express leaving Chennai on and
from 15th December will run on its scheduled timings.
8. 16310 Patna-Ernakulam Express leaving Patna on and from 15th
December will run on its scheduled timings.
