( Odisha Samachar Bureau ) - Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case No. 28 dated 12.7.2013
was registered on the allegation of demand of illegal gratification of Rs.
7000/- by Sri Banamali Nayak, Sub-Inspector of Police, Kumbharpada PS,
Dist-Puri from Sri Suryakanta Pradhan s/o Prakash Chandra Pradhan a/p staying
in his father-in-law's house at Matiapada, PS-Kumbharpada, Dist-Puri for
submission of CDs and not to arrest accused persons in Kumbharpada PS Case No
222/2013. On 13.7.2013 at 3:15pm, Sri
Nayak was caught red-handed on the backside of Gundicha badi temporary outpost
near Gundicha temple by the Vigilance team for demanding and accepting illegal
gratification of Rs. 7000/- from Sri
Suryakanta Pradhan.
Sri Banamali Nayak has been arrested and would
be forwarded to the Court in the above noted case.
