Bhubaneswar,
18/7 ( Odisha Samachar Bureau) - For the convenience of passengers especially
devotees and to cater additional rush of passengers on Sunavesha Festival at
Puri, East Coast Railway has provided for running of special trains from
different places excluding the existing trains coming to Puri. Apart from this,
some trains will be rescheduled, diverted and extended to Puri. ECoR has
arranged exclusive passenger amenities for the convenience of the
passengers.
Additional ticket counters, Enquiry
Counters and Information Centers, provision of additional temporary toilets /
bathing facilities, a temporary Melashed covering an area of 1800 Sqm,
Catering and Drinking Water facilities, Sanitation arrangements, Medical
Assistance, lighting arrangements at different places in station areas, LC Gate
Managements, safety and security have been provided for the convenience of the
passengers. Mobilization manpower has also been arranged for smooth running of
train services.

DIVERSION and
CANCELLATION:
In view to provide facilities for Sandhya Darshan,
Palasa-Bhubaneswar passenger will be diverted to Puri from Khurda Road and will
remain cancelled between Khurda Road to Bhubaneswar. Similarly,
Bhubaneswar-Khalikote-Bhubaneswar passenger, Bhubaneswar-Palasa passenger,
Puri-Khurda Road passenger and Bhubaneswar-Kendujhar Road passenger will be
cancelled for Special train arrangements.
