TRAIN SERVICES TO BE SHORT TERMINATED AND CANCELLED FOR MODERNISATION WORK

Bhubaneswar, 9^/7 ( Odisha Samachar Bureau) - With a view to facilitating smooth and better movement of trains, Railways have taken Non-Inter locking work including other safety and modernization work at Simhachalam North Station from 11^th to 14^th July 2013 and at Jirat and Ambika Kalna in  Eastern Railway during second and third week of July 2013.

As a result, some of the passenger trains originating from ECoR jurisdiction including Puri will be diverted, Short Terminated and Cancelled.

DIVERTED:

15643/15644/ Puri-Kamakhya-Puri Express leaving Puri on 13^th & 20^th July and leaving Kamakhya on 11^th and 18^th July 2013 will be diverted via Poradanga-Naihati-Rampurhat-Bardhaman-Bandel and will have stoppages at Nalhati, Rampurhat, Sainthia and Bardhawan.

SHORT TERMINATION:

          58527 Raipur-Titilagarh-Rayagada-Visakhapatnam passenger  leaving Raipur from 11^th to 14^th July 2013 will be short terminated at Titilagarh and will return back as 58528 Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger from Titilagarh. The services of this train between Titilagarh and Visakhapatnam will remain cancelled during the period from both the direction.

Similarly, 58537 Koraput-Visakhapatnam passenger leaving Koraput from 11^th to 14^th July 2013 will be short terminated at Rayagada and will return back as 15838 Visakhapatnam-Koraput passenger from Rayagada. The services of this train between Rayagada and Visakhapatnam will remain cancelled during the period from both the direction.

67295/67296 Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam-Rajahmundry MEMU, 57255/57256 Cuttack-Visakhapatnam-Cuttack passenger, 57225/57226 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada passenger, 67294/67293 Visakhapatnam-Palasa-Visakhapatnam MEMU, 58526/58525 Visakhapatnam-Palasa-Visakhapatnam passenger and 67292/67691 Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam MEMU will remain cancelled from 11^th to 14^th July 2013.
